TNA prepared to work with the President

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Leader of the Tamil National Alliance R Sampanthan says President Gotabaya Rajapaksa must listen to the grievances of the Tamil community, in order to ensure a lasting solution to the national question.

Speaking during the adjournment debate on President Rajapaksa’s policy in Parliament today, MP Sampanthan said the TNA is prepared to work with the Head of State to bring peace and prosperity to the country.

The TNA Leader urged President Rajapaksa to fulfil the promises he made during the period leading up to the 2019 Presidential Election.
