(UTV | COLOMBO) – Police today arrested three suspects, including the brother-in-law of the notorious drug trafficker Samantha Kumara, alias ‘Wele Suda’, for possession of heroin in Imaduwa.
Police said they recovered 1.3g of heroin, Rs 37,500 in cash, four mobile phones, and a bank pass book in the suspects’ possession.
The brother-in-law of ‘Wele Suda’ (47), and the other two suspects were to be produced before the Galle Magistrate’s Court today.
In the meantime, an underworld member and accomplice of ‘Dematagoda Chaminda’ was arrested by Police in Aluthkade area today for possession of heroin.
The Kiribathgoda Police made the arrest.
