(UTV | UNITED STATES) – “Euphoria” and “The White Lotus” actress Sydney Sweeney is set to join Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters.
The actress has reportedly joined the “Madame Web” movie starring Dakota Johnson in the title role. It is unknown who Sweeney will be playing in the film.
In the comics, Madame Web is an elderly woman with psychic sensory powers who is connected to a life-support system that looked like a spider web.
The film version is expected to be quite different. S.J. Clarkson is on board to direct from a script by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
