(UTV | COLOMBO) – Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Former President Maithripala Sirisena says the decision on whether the SLFP will support the 2022 Budget or not will be determined by the party Central Committee.
Responding to a journalist in Kandy yesterday, the Former President he cannot reach decisions on his own accord claiming the SLFP is a party that upholds democracy.
Former President Sirisena said decisions are reached by the party after discussions at the Central Committee.
Commenting on the Budget, the Former President said he would be pleased if curtailing pensions of Members of Parliament helps solve people’s issues.
