(UTV | COLOMBO) – President’s Media Division issuing a statement announced that service of all rice mills island-wide have been declared as an essential service to ensure uninterrupted processing of paddy.
In a bid to prevent any rice shortage in the market, the Government yesterday decided to keep all main rice mills in the country open to continue uninterrupted paddy processing .
This decision was taken at a meeting with the ruling party members of the former Parliament yesterday.
