(UTV | COLOMBO) – A total of 12,040 Police and Security Forces Personnel would be deployed tomorrow (04) near all Churches to ensure that worshippers can engage in religious activities without fear, the Police stated.
Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that a special security plan has been implemented at Churches around the country, which includes 9,356 Police Officers, 2,540 Military and 146 Special Task Force (STF) Officers.
