Savannah Welch (“Six,” “Boyhood”) has been cast in the role of Barbara Gordon in the third season of HBO Max’s “Titans”.
In the lore of the series, Gordon is currently the Gotham City Police Commissioner and was Batgirl until she was shot and paralyzed by the Joker.
In the show, she will have a combative relationship with Bruce Wayne. Her life gets more complicated when Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) returns to Gotham, rekindling their old romance and starting a new crime-fighting partnership.
Production on the new run began in October and is expected to run until mid-year.
