Rupee appreciates against USD

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Rupee appreciated against the United States Dollar (USD) today (15).

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), the selling rate of a USD was at Rs. 195.78.

Earlier, the Sri Lanka Rupee continued to depreciate against the USD since 17 March.

On Wednesday (08), the Rupee depreciated, hitting a new record low against the USD.

The CBSL stated that the selling rate of the USD was at Rs. 200.47.
