Reservoirs’ water levels rises rapidly

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The water level of the Attanagalu, Gin, Kalu, and Nilwala Rivers are currently rising to flood level.

Kelani River too has reached alert levels due to the prevailing heavy rainfall, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated.

Accordingly, the locals residing in low-level areas of these rivers have been advised to move to safer locations due to the threat of floods.
