Report on amending office hours completed

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Passenger Transport Services says the formulation of recommendations to amend office times through the introduction of a new flexible service system for state institutions has been completed.

The report is due to be handed over to Minister of Passenger Transport Services Mahinda Amaraweera next week.

Attention has been directed to the introduction of a new flexible service system for state institutions, to mitigate traffic congestion which will result from schools reopening on the 20th of July.

A statement issued by the Ministry said the report will be handed over to the Minister next week by the Secretary to the subject Ministry.

The report will also be handed over to Ministry of Public Administration, while the recommendations will be implemented at a Ministry level in future.
