Ranjan leaves CID after recording 4-hour long statement

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Former Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake who arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) earlier today has left the premises after recording a four-hour-long statement.

It was reported that Ramanayake was producing a statement with regard to the comments he had made on Buddhist clergy.

Ramanayake arrived at the CID at around 1.00 pm this afternoon (22).
