Protesters to withdraw from President’s House

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Protesters have reportedly decided to withdraw from the President’s House, Presidential Secretariat, Temple Trees and the Office of the Prime Minister with immediate effect.

The announcement was made during a media briefing conducted by a group of protesters.

They said the move is aimed at restoring peace in the country.

Protesters who demanded the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa forcibly entered several government buildings in recent days.

They also entered the Office of the Prime Minister yesterday.
