(UTV | COLOMBO) – Due to the influence of the low pressure area over southeast Arabian Sea, the prevailing showery and windy condition is expected to continue further today, stated the Meteorology Department.
Wind speed can increase up to (40-50) kmph at times over the island. Wind speed can gusting up to 60 kmph particularly in Northern, North central and North-western provinces.
Cloudy skies can be expected over the island.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern Northern, North central and North-western provinces
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night.
