(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Police has decided to take action against those who plan to organize or attend parties on Valentine’s Day (14).
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that, organizing Valentine’s Day events and parties is strictly prohibited and cannot be held without the prior approval of local health authorities.
He further said that, special police teams have been deployed to monitor such events.
He said that they have received information on various people and institutions planning parties and public events on social media for Valentine’s Day.
