(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Police Personnel have been deployed near schools from today (15) to monitor if the health guidelines issued for COVID-19 are being adhered to.
All schools in the island including the schools in the Western Province commenced today (15) for Grade 5, Grade 11, and Grade 13 while the other grades will commence on 19 April after the April holidays.
Schools remained closed from March to November 2020 due to the pandemic and reopened in stages thereafter.
