Paramount Animation has optioned NBC’s “The Cape” and Netflix’s “Cursed” creator Tom Wheeler’s new children’s adventure book series “C.O.S.M.O.S.” with Wheeler set to adapt the property as a feature film.
Dubbed “Men in Black meets Willy Wonka with a shout out to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” the adventure tale celebrates curiosity, diversity and the power of science to save the world.
Wheeler, who has penned such films as “Puss in Boots” and “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” is attached to write the adaptation.
