(UTV | COLOMBO) – The 2nd dose of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 Vaccine has been administered to a total of 85,653 persons in Sri Lanka, the State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals, Professor Channa Jayasumana said.
The Government commenced administrating the 2nd dose of the vaccine on Wednesday (28).
Frontline healthcare workers among the first to receive the 2nd dose at several locations across the country.
A total of 928,289 persons had been vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine in Sri Lanka.
