(UTV | COLOMBO) – Total of 829,220 persons have thus far received the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-vaccine, the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health stated.
It further added that a total of 4,687 persons were administered the first does of the vaccine yesterday (20).
The COVID-vaccination programme commenced on 29 January in the Colombo and Gampaha Districts.
