(UTV | COLOMBO) – Over 200 individuals were arrested yesterday (14) for not following quarantine regulations.
Police Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that 253 persons were arrested for not wearing face masks and not maintaining social distance within the past 24-hours.
The DIG added that 9,282 suspects have been arrested since 30 October in this regard.
