(UTV | COLOMBO) – The total number of recoveries of patients infected with COVID-19 in Sri Lanka reached 50 this afternoon.
The Ministry of Health said one more patient had recovered and was discharged from hospital today.
A total of 190 Coronavirus patients have been reported in Sri Lanka so far, with 133 patients being identified as active cases.
The Ministry of Health said 224 persons are under observation at various hospitals on suspicion of having contracted the virus.
Seven deaths have been reported so far due to COVID-19 in Sri Lanka, it added.
