(UTV | COVID-19) – The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka reached 218 early this morning (14).
The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry said that there were 155 active coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka by 8am today (Tuesday).
Of the 218 patients, 56 have recovered and have been discharged from hospital and seven have died so far.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry said that there are 117 patients in hospital on suspicion of contracting the virus.
