NPC approves proposal to deploy security personnel for retired IGPs

(UTV| COLOMBO) – The National Police Commission (NPC) has approved a request made by the Acting IGP to deploy security personnel for retired IGPs and Senior DIGs.

NPC Secretary Nishantha Weerasinha said the Acting IGP has made the request last week after considering the inconveniences caused by these top retired police officers and their security.
