(UTV | COLOMBO) – The acceptance of nominations for the forthcoming Parliamentary Election will not be affected by the Government’s decision to declare a 3-day holiday period, the National Election Commission stated.
The Commission requested those arriving to submit nominations to wear surgical masks after concerns were raised pertaining to the safety of Officers involved in the election process.
