(UTV | COLOMBO) – Liam Neeson is re-teaming with his “The Marksman” director Robert Lorenz on the Ireland-set thriller “In The Land Of Saints And Sinners”.
Set in a remote village, Neeson will play a newly retired assassin who finds himself drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists. Neeson’s old friend Ciaran Hinds co-stars.
Mark Michael McNally and Terry Loane penned the script with revisions by Matthew Feitshans. Philip Lee, Markus Barmettler, Bonnie Timmermann, Geraldine Hughes and Terry Loane produce.
Filming is being lined up for March next year. “The Marksman” proved a hit earlier this year, topping the U.S. box office. Neeson has three films in post-production – “Blacklight,” “Memory” and “Retribution”.
