Navy reports 21 more recoveries from COVID-19

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Navy confirms that 21 more navy men who had previously contracted the COVID-19 have recovered from the disease.

As these sailors were found negative to the virus on the reports of random PCR tests carried out under treatment, they have been discharged from the hospital on Wednesday (24).

The total number of coronavirus recoveries from the Navy accordingly reached 811.

These discharged navy men will undergo a 14-day quarantine procedure in compliance with the healthcare regulations.

The Navy has reported a total of 904 positive cases of coronavirus to date.

The number of coronavirus cases reported in Sri Lanka so far currently sits at 2,001. Out of this total 1,562 patients have made complete recoveries.
