UTV | COLOMBO – A woman and her daughter have died in a motor accident in Dompe.
The accident was reported when a car collided head on with a motorbike yesterday.
Police said the mother and daughter who were travelling on a bike, succumbed upon admission to the Dompe Hospital, after sustaining serious injuries in the accident.
The mother is 42-years-old while the daughter is 19-years-old.
The driver of the car has been arrested over the incident.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Dompe Police.
