(UTV | COLOMBO) – Total of 39 persons were arrested for not wearing face masks and failing to maintain social distancing during the last 24-hours, the Police Media Spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said.
The DIG added that 1,111 suspects have been arrested since 30 October for not wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing in public areas.
