Minister Bathiudeen sends greetings to Commonwealth Secretary-General

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, and Co-operative Development, Rishad Bathiudeen on Tuesday (01) emerged as one of the first Sri Lankan leaders to send New Year greetings to the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations, Patricia Scotland.

Recalling the 2017 Commonwealth Trade Ministers’ meeting held in London – United Kingdom (UK), and Ms. Patricia’s keen interest to partner with Sri Lanka, Minister Bathiudeen conveyed New Year greetings to her and to the Commonwealth community on behalf of Sri Lanka.
