(UTV|COLOMBO) – Mayor of the Matale Municipal Council, Daljith Aluwihare has been arrested over an alleged assault on an UNP Councillor, Police Spokesman said.
SP Jaliya Senaratne said the mayor was arrested by the Matale Police following a complaint.
