(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Consumer Affairs Authority has informed Litro Gas to recall all sealed gas cylinders that were issued before the 4th of December that are in possession of dealers and at households.
When contacted by NewsRadio a senior officer of the Consumer Affairs Authority said the directive was issued in a letter to Litro Gas yesterday.
Accordingly, gas cylinders with a blue-coloured seal will be recalled.
According to the directive, new cylinders must be issued to replace the old polythene coated cylinders currently at homes and with dealers.
