(UTV | COLOMBO) – The early landslide warnings issued to the Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle and Ratnapura districts will remain in place until 6pm.
The National Building Research Organization said Level 1 warnings were issued to the Baddegama, Elpitiya and Neluwa Divisional Secretariat areas in Galle, Palindanuwara, Bulathsinhala, Agalawatta and Dodangoda DS areas in Kalutara, Pathahewaheta, Doluwa and Gangawata Korale DS areas in Kandy, Yatiyanthota, Deraniyagala, Ruwanwella and Dehiowita DS areas in Kegalle and Eheliyagoda, Ayagama, Ratnapura and Embilipitiya DS areas in Ratnapura owing to inclement weather.
