KOICA donates medical items

(UTV | COLOMBO) -The Sri Lankan representatives of the Korea International Corporation Agency (KOICA) donated medical equipment worth over Rs. 1.3 million to Health Ministry, Health Ministry Spokesman said.

According to the spokesman,  surgical beds, special dresses used in theatres, washing machines etc were among the items donated by KOICA.

The donation was handed over to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi by Sri Lankan Representative of KOICA Ms. Kang Youn Hwa at the Health Ministry, he said.

Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council Chairman Kanchana Jayaratne, Senaka Kumarasinghe from KOICA (Sri Lanka) and several officials were present at the occasion, he added.
