(UTV | COLOMBO) – Kevin Bacon has joined the cast of the reboot of Troma Entertainment’s “The Toxic Avenger” in what is said to be a ‘slick villain’ role.
Macon Blair penned the script and directs the story of a struggling everyman (Peter Dinklage) who is pushed into a vat of toxic waste and transformed into a mutant freak.
He goes from shunned outcast to underdog hero as he races to save his son, his friends, and his community from the forces of corruption and greed.
Jacob Tremblay and Taylour Paige are also involved in the project which will shoot later this month in Bulgaria.
