Jayewardenepura Hospital Chairman’s order affects surgeries

With the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital Chairman and the governing body ordering specialist doctors not to recommend any medicine or surgical equipment from outside, hospital staff say that treatment at the hospital is facing a serious crisis.

In this situation, eye surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and heart surgeries at the hospital have completely stopped, and it is reported that a small number of ear, nose and throat surgeries are being performed.
