(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the Ja-Ela Police has been transferred by the National Police Commission on a request made by the Election Commission (EC).
The police officer has been transferred to the Police Headquarters.
His transfer had been requested on the basis that he was accused of violating election laws.
