ITAK has decided not to support the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya

The Opposition’s Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) has decided not to support the no-confidence motion (NCM) that is expected to be brought against the Education Minister, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. Addressing a media briefing, ITAK Parliamentarian S. Sridharan announced this decision.

Opposition MPs are currently in the process of bringing forward an NCM seeking the removal of Dr. Amarasuriya as the Education Minister, and are in the process of collecting signatures for the motion.
