Isolation on NHS Housing Scheme lifted

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The isolation order imposed on the NHS Housing Scheme in Maligawatta has been lifted with immediate effect.

The Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID -19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), General Shavendra Silva stated the decision to lift the state of isolation was reached following confirmation that the risk of the spread of COVID-19 in the area has reduced.
