(UTV | COLOMBO) – An island-wide curfew will be imposed on May 31 (Sunday) , June 4 (Thursday) and June 5 (Friday), the President’s media unit stated.
The curfew will be effective only between 10.00 pm to 4.00 am daily in all districts in the island from June 1 (Monday) till June 3 (Wednesday).
Starting from June 6 (Saturday) curfew will be effective only between 10.00 pm to 4.00 am daily in all districts in the island.
The Government requests the public to adhere to health recommendations while engaging in their daily activities even after the curfew is relaxed.
Travelling between districts except in the two districts of Colombo and Gampaha will be permitted, but public are urged to desist from non-essential travel.
