India assures Sri Lanka of its support at UNHRC

(UTV | COLOMBO) – India has assured Sri Lanka of its support to protect the sovereignty of the country before the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the Secretary to the Foreign Ministry said.

He made this remarks speaking at the Third Digital Dialogue hosted by the Media Centre for National Development.

Admiral Professor Jayanath Colombage added that Sri Lanka greatly appreciates the position of India, and is committed to working in partnership with any entity as long as its sovereignty is honoured.
