(UTV | COLOMBO) – Immune system take at least 14 to 21-days to respond to the COVID-vaccine, Professor Neelika Malavige of the Department of Immunology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura said.
This is applicable to any vaccine and added that is how the vaccine responds to one’s immune system, Professor Malavige quoted by the Daily Mirror.
She made this remarks in response to the claims made by various parties with regards to shortcomings in vaccination.
