“House of Cards” creator Beau Willimon will develop a series adaptation of the board game “Risk” for Entertainment One, Hasbro.
The Risk game sees players aim for global conquest via war, strategy and diplomacy and has been perennially popular since its introduction in the late 1950s.
Willimon and Jordan Tappis’ production company, Westward, will develop the project and have also signed a multiyear, first-look TV deal with Entertainment One which is owned by Hasbro.
