(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Colombo High Court has set aside a bail order issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate on former Minister Rajitha Seneratna over the ‘white van’ press conference case.
High Court Judge Manjula Thilakarathna issued the order following a revision petition filed by the Attorney General (AG).
Accordingly, the former Minister is to be remanded again, the AG’s office said.
Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne was arrested on December 27 but was granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on December 29 over the controversial press conference.
