(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Government has decided to purchase paddy from farmers, Cabinet Spokesperson Bandula Gunawardena said today (23).
He said that paddy will be purchased at Rs. 50 per kilo for high quality paddy and Rs. 45 for wet paddy.
The Minister made the announcement today at the post cabinet press conference.
