Govt. extends grace period to settle outstanding electricity bills

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Power and Energy stated that the grace period granted to settle payments of outstanding electricity bills for the month of March has been further extended till 30 April.

Earlier, the Ministry granted a grace period to settle payments of outstanding electricity bills for the month of February by 31 March.

The Ministry added that electricity supply will not be disconnected during this period and urged all consumers to pay their outstanding bills within the announced grace period.
