Govt. blame on one, over inaccurate COVID-data

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Government Nursing Officers’ Association charged that the Government is attempting to lay blame over inaccurate data on deaths related to COVID-19, on one individual.

Its President Saman Rathnapriya said it was common knowledge that the daily reports did not contain the number of deaths recorded during the previous 24-hour period.

He added although the reports over the past few months clearly stated that deaths occurred between two specific days, the Government and responsible parties have been indicating that they were unaware of the mechanism.
