(UTV | COLOMBO) – A Gazette Notification has been issued by the Ministry of Labour increasing the daily wage of estate workers to Rs. 1,000.
Accordingly, the daily minimum wage of estate workers was increased to Rs. 1,000, including that the Minimum Daily Wage Labour of Rs. 900 and Budgetary Relief Allowance of Rs. 100.
The Notification will be in effect from 05 March, 2021.
