UTV | COLOMBO – The Puttalam Magistrate’s Court has granted approval to detain and question the officer attached to the Department of Excise who was arrested for the possession of the narcotic ICE in Puttalam for three days.
The suspect was arrested by officers attached to the Puttalam Anti Corruption Unit yesterday.
125g of ICE was found in the Excise Department official’s possession at the time.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Puttalam Police.
