Diplomatic Cricket Tournament held in Colombo

(UTV | COLOMBO) – In connection with the Pakistan National Day celebrations, the High Commission of Pakistan organised a Diplomatic Cricket Tournament on Saturday (27).

A total of 10 teams from different High Commissions and International Organisations participated in the tournament.

The opening ceremony of tournament was attended by the prominent guests, including prominent figures from diplomatic community. A good number of audience enjoyed the occasion including people from local business community.

The 5-overs tournament was won by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Winner and Runner-Up Trophy and gifts to Umpires and team securing 3rd position were given away by the Major General Retired Muhammad Saad Khattak.
