Concerns over resuming bakery operations

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The All Island Bakery Owners Association says concerns have arisen over resuming bakery operations as all employees are not able to report to work today.

Chairman of the Association NK Jayawardene speaking to a prominent news portal in the isle said concerns will be solved within the week.

He said employees are expected to report back to work this week as trains and buses have resumed transport services.

However, he stressed the issue still remains in the Colombo and Gampaha Districts. Nevertheless, Jayawardene expressed confidence that the matter will be fully resolved by next week.
