(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Education has informed all Provincial and Zonal Education Directors to begin preparations for measures that should be adhered to when schools reopen.
Secretary of the Ministry NHM Chithrananda said a circular containing directives has been directed to Provincial and Zonal Education Directors.
The Ministry said preparations must be made according to the number of students, considering health conditions and guidelines by health authorities.
Chithrananda said Ordinary and Advanced Level students should be prioritised when schools reopen.
The Education Ministry Secretary added schools should operate only according to stipulated methods when a date is announced to reopen schools.
